I don't normally do this sort of thing, but as I couldn't resist responding in someone else's LJ... fair is fair.

I want anyone and everyone who reads this to post in here something they would LIKE to do with me SOMEDAY.

Yes, it is contagious. I'll reply with a similar answer should you happen to post this in your LJ.

I want to be there in the audience, cheering you on when you receive your first literary award. This is, of course, after being at a published book party of yours.

I'd like to attend the same group-of-friends dinner or afterparty as you, and see whether your "filters" change after a few drinks, and what you're like then.

One of my better friends said once that he enjoyed sitting down with a friend he trusted, one on one with a bottle of red wine, and talking and drinking genteelly until they had each told a secret to the other. I still haven't had the chance to do so with him, but it struck me as an interesting way to deepen a friendship.

You probably wouldn't notice a thing. This is largely because I don't drink much at all, if at all. But I'll happily clink a wineglass with you. Conversation outside of LARP context is a good thing, even though we tend to have good conversation IN a LARP context anyway.

Dine on okonomiyaki at a hole-in-the-wall joint either deep in some alley or high up in a skyscraper in Osaka.

If by some strange turn of circumstance I end up in Osaka while you happen to be lurking about Japan, I'll give you a call. Until then, rain check.

have a fascinating chat, somewhere overlooking running water, about the "not real" things either or both of us have ever seen, or been sure of even without seeing. i'm thinking specifically about a ring of stones out behind some housing development, and an indian warrior who wasn't there, but i somehow doubt he's the only character in whatever cast you'd place him in.

Say, it has been a while since we've had much of a chat. And there's nothing like talking about nothing when the nothing may have been something, certainly.
