Today I am pondering on the way in which slang completely changes everything. (To get it, I guess you have to know what beaver is slang for. If you aren't sure, I'll let you figure it out for yourself.) I found a book (from 1994) in the English center my husband is running:

Week two of summer holiday, which equals week two of the new job. Things at The Mr's English center started out a bit slow, but now are picking up.
