I was going to post this! Good thing I checked before XD

This news surprises me and at the same time it doesn't... for some reason, I thought that for the extremists only the cancelation on TV wasn't enough. The anime (and the manga) must be erased from the world in their point of view. This makes me sad... it's only a TV show after all! And the manga is made for fun and not to criticize anyone or anything. Even though Hetalia somehow (and in different levels) affects its readers and fans, but in a positive way. A fast look trough Hetalia communities and we can say that (this one is a good example).

Wow. That's REALLY smart of them. What these protesters and now cyber-terrorists are accomplishing is making the image of the entire country, not just them, look a hell of a lot worse than any comic ever could. I have a feeling that these people aren't even going to be satisfied if this measure works; they probably won't be satisfied until real-world terrorist acts are committed against the creator of the series and the makers of the anime. Another problem is that by Kids Station giving the protesters an inch, they're now demanding a mile, and the slippery slope has already begun. If this continues, then Korean nationalists will probably have the entire Japanese industry at its knees -- and it all started because the Korean character in a random webcomic by an art student from Japan (who's not even living there) wasn't depicted as the only Mary Sue character in the entire comic, completely ignoring the fact that if he was, then it would compromise the whole "equality" structure and pretty much make any strip that he appears in pro- ( ... )

Yeah -- and if Bush was still in office, and he found out about this, he probably would have declared war on Korea!

no he'd want to wage war on N.Korea- who knows; he probably thinks they are the same things?

Oh for the love of--I have had enough of anti-Hetalia extremists. Actually, I've had enough of uninformed anti-Hetalia ANYTHING, coming from ANYWHERE, be it Korea or otherwise.

I only wish that Himaruya don't be affected for all this, because, if i were him, I would be tired. Very tired.

Somebody blasted me for saying this, but I WILL say it again.

On the scale of unflattering portrayals, Korea's is relatively mild. Now, I KNOW Japan and Korea have a "special" relationship, but are these censorfags really so blind that they don't see how insulting MOST of the countries' portrayals are?!

I'm mildly offended by Canada's portrayal--not about to boycott a funny, harmless joke series over it.

STFU and STFD, Korean censorfags.
