This morning's NYT articles about the hunter murder suspect really rubbed me the wrong way.

What I gathered from the first article, about the suspect1) The CIA funded a Laotian rebellion against its communist government

there's more going down than meets the eye. not to play the race card, but i BET the word "gook" was used at least once by the soon-to-be-shot hunters.

what the hell does "some whites say not all Laotians respect property rights" even MEAN?

i would be willing to bet good money that they prob did use racial slurs...
but...
that still doesnt give Mr. Vang the right to open fire. Being a racsist asshole is not a crime punishable by death.

Agreed. I take issue more with the framing of the story than the fact that Mr. Vang will be drawn and quartered for going apeshit.
