Can I just tell you again how much in awe of you I am? Seriously, you amaze me.
On another note, I have a freidn of mine who is Airforce & will be deployed Aug 1 to Afganistan, and it kind of sounds like you guys are doing similar things. He's on facebook and I thoguht it would be kind of neat to get you two in communication.

Do you know where in Afghanistan your friend is deploying? The Air Force traditionally is augmented to specific Army and Marine units so odds are that he's in a major city (i.e., Kandahar, Boghram, Herat, Mazar-e-Sharif ect...) But yeah, let me know where they are going and his name so I can facestalk, I mean facebook him.

I work in the support battalion of an Aviation Brigade so I work with the Air Force fairly frequently. I'm not sure you were aware of it, but the Army doesn't have airplanes (the Air Force does) but we have helicopters and they don't (haha!).
