Richard leaves....
Yesterday was spent with Richard, RJ and I eating brawts and steaks on the back porch after a two mile walk on the All American Trail. RJ, was of course, adorbs in his Bumbo. ...I'm fairly certain no one who I initially was friends with on this site even still uses it. But with one week prior to Richard's deployment and staring at my five week old son sleeping I've decided that I'd like to write out my feelings this deployment. I had an hour long lunch today with Gen. Petraeus and eight other CPTs. Pretty freaking cool! Another Day, Another Book
I finished, "Me Talk Pretty One Day," yesterday.
Furthermore, I continue to believe that LTC Tilly has the single talent of iratating the shit out of me. Today it was a formal report to his office and being lectured by LT Nuber on MOPP gear. Fucking retarded.

Stryker Simulator
Spent the early part of the morning playing on the Stryker simulator, which was friggin sweet! It started off real Mickey Mouse but by the end of the 8 scenarios you're on a convoy, are hit by a VBIED, being gunned by insergants, have a SGT hit in the gunnery and are being screamed at by the CO to get out of the kill zone.
