Thank you so much for working on this manga. I think you've done a really great job and hope you'll continue until the end of this series. When you're busy just let your school and other things in real life be your priority because we can always wait ^__^ The story in chapter 3 is getting more interesting. Look forward to reading chapter 4 already!
I do agree that "young man" for 'oniisan' sounds awkward.
Now translating it as "kid" doesn't work because Fukami is being polite with Yuusuke, not too formal but still polite. It's just that usually you say "hey, young man, can you....blah blah blah" only until you find out their name. But here it's a Yakuza talk. He just keeps calling Yuusuke 'oniisan' or 'anta' probably because he's used to be calling that any (young) man who isn't above or below him in the yakuza hierarchy. And if I remember correctly later in the story other yakuza call Yuusuke 'oniisan' too. There just isn't really an equivalent in English, and if there is, it's a slang or I simply don't know it.
About what to do with this, I got a good suggestion to simply leave it as 'oniisan', and I think I'll do that from now on.
twylise is posting this in yaoi_daily right now and it's my favorite story and i can't wait for her next post so i'm coming to the source to download XD thank you so much for scanlating this!!
