Dissolve the jelly crystals in about a quarter of the normal amount of boiling water, add about half volume of vodka once they're dissolved. Pour into shot glasses, chuck in fridge.
I think that works. You have to be a bit careful with volumes, because the alcohol content affects the way it sets, but from memory it's reasonably robust.
Follow recipe, but take away 50% of the water and replace with vodka, ouzo, or some other clear liquer. Kalua also works quite nicely wit portwine flavoured jelly.
Make at least 24hours in advance, as it needs extra time to set.
Makes for a VERY potent shot, but yummy all the same.
