[ice-cream] Aniseed Ice-Cream
Tried to make Aniseed A2 Ice Cream today. I made a great ice-cream, but I feel I failed to make a great Aniseed Ice-cream. It has the same potency of flavour as you'd expect from a vanilla ice-cream, except that the flavour is aniseed rather than vanilla ( Read more... ) -
[ice-cream] Strawberry, Balsamic and Black Pepper Sorbet
My latest Sorbet creation: Strawberry with Balsamic and Black Pepper. 😍
The balsamic gives it an amazing tang, and then after you've eaten it the pepper whispers to you, "I'm still here you know; now that the others have left us, we can finally enjoy each other's company privately". ;)

Tony Abbott is the Man of My Dreams
Last night I had a nightmare that Tony Abbott was Australia's Prime Minister. gwyon_bach and I were fighting a zombie horde lead by said PM, and there was a purple elephant in my back yard.
This election is getting to me more than I thought.

There is an advertisement screening on Australian television at the moment that brings me so much joy every time I see it. I thought I'd share it with those that don't live in Australia and are missing out (assuming that it isn't an American ad that has been re-voiced).
