So, the gf is on vacation- and I've got the place to myself. I've got lots of things to do while she's gone, like playing copious amounts of Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing, making my first macarons and a few other recipes that either she won't like or are too messy and involved to have another human around.

Long day ahead, and I can't go back to sleep. I've been looking forward to/dreading the busy season; but now it's here and almost gone. It's kind of sad, actually. On the bright side, it's still snowing! I've come to actually like the sound of the snow plow trucks- is that weird?
It feels like I have a snow globe in my tummy.
