work has been so busy, i've been doing 50 hour weeks and I still have a ton of work to do, I could easily work weekends, even my boss told us that its ok to do as much overtime as we need to get the work done because and i quote, "it is really busy right now and it will only get busier"...busier...god that thought scares me, its soo busy. but ( Read more... )

yay, I got a job, so the interview went really well yesterday and I start work on monday. The job is interesting, but sounds like it'll be busy/hectic. I get health insurance and the pay is pretty good and i get time and half for overtime which is good since its a law firm, so probably will be overtime, also i get 21 days off a year plus 6 ( Read more... )

so today i went down to river to read the paper, it was nice to sit by river and read the paper though a little hot out. i'm lonely, really miss friends and hanging out with them. i need to make friends here so i have people to hang out with, bleh

my grandpa on my moms side passed away last night, friday, at 10:30, his heart stopped. Family is unsure about when doing things, but it looks like he didn't want a funeral or a wake but he wanted to have a mass and be cremated and go back to mexico. Depending on the timing, I am really going to try to get home for the mass.

finals are done, yay! this means graduation woot! so i get grades jude 2nd and i guess thats when i know if i did it or not but i'm sure i did since only class i was stressing about was history of africa which i feel really confident about the final. so yay! started packing stuff up and throwing things away, i need to get some boxes and i think ( Read more... )

update update...what to say...finals coming up, i feel good about my classes, i did well in my swing class and my children's literature book i wrote was received well by my class. so not worried about my classes really since i'm doing well in all of them and will probably get a/bs this term. graduating, yay! moving too, which scary, yep its scary ( Read more... )
