Master Suite makeover
Our house, from floor to ceiling had some pretty funky colours when we bought it. It was so bad that they offered us a nice size painting allowance when we settled. M was a hard one to sell on the house though. I've been stitching again! :D
I made the girls some sweet little dresses to wear to fun places like birthday parties. I think this is the first lot of real sewing I have done since finishing of Marks hospital quilt .... its been way to long!! For me I find peace and calm when I am sitting at my machine creating, so to have been gone for so long has really been difficult. I ( Read more... ) -
Creating
These have been posted to Facebook, but I like to keep a lot of my creations in my journal as this is were most of my heart, soul and life is recorded.
Last night I drew this with ink pen on construction paper. I was inspired by this and a need to focus on some bigger meanings to life.

Dress up Caddy
I love that my girls like to play dress up. I hope, one day when this hellish time is behind us, to have some time to create some beautiful dress ups for them, and hopefully not before they grow too old. :)

Ear Flap Owl Hat
I've never crocheted before... but my mum is in town and willing to impart her awesome skills and I've always wanted to learn. So, like everything I do, I didnt want to start off with something easy, like say a scarf. Nope, I made this absolutely adorable ear flap owl hat! :D I am completely chuffed with myself. LOL
