yo mods, I was wondering what the ruling is on posting a blog in the community if
1) The blog writer is part of the community here
2) It pertains to veganism + misc. topic

I know there is vegpromo but that is a smaller community. I know it is doable, but I am looking more for permission since some people don't like advertising in their community or a

Is this a hypothetical situation, or is this you, affectionjunkie? ;-)

You know that I get bugged when ppl start plugging their blog all over the damn place, and, as you mentioned, there is vegpromo (though, how many ppl actually follow that community? I sure don't follow it.)

In a case, when it is once and done, (for example: "Hey guys! Just started my own blog regarding X, if you would like to check it out, here is a link, have a nice day!") I don't mind too much. When it is recurring, and showing up all over the damn place, it gets . . . old quick.

I personally don't have a problem with it (especially if it's you, and I know you aren't just spamming the community, but rather are a member that posts/comments all the time) but obviously the other mods have to weigh in.

yeah, it is I. I created a blog about trying to become a burlesque performer while keeping vegan and I wanted to promote it in v_p once he blog has a bit more substance on its pages.

If it helps I can tie the link into a previous post I made about finding snythietic feathers as opposed to a post that is just "OMG guys, check out my blog! It is totes cute/cool/fun/awesome, kthxbai!"
