[He turns at the familiar voice, his red eyes piercing as he looks Daisy in the eye.]

...They won't be able to do anything for this.

...I can tell you that I'm unhurt.

[Adell eases his stance a bit, still not breaking eye contact. He can tell she's feeling guarded around him. Who could blame her, looking how he did? If anything, this was revealing what he really was. In a twisted sort of way.]

...They drugged me. And experimented on me. But I'm not injured. And I doubt any healing magic or treatment will fix what's wrong with me right now.

[Rydia isn't so shocked at Adell's general appearance -she had seen it once before- so much that it's out now. Given her exposure to Eidolons and other seemingly monstrous beings over the years, she isn't unsettled but definitely concerned. The summoner strides over, brow knit.]

[Rydia. One of the only people who saw him at the Hall of Mirrors in Lucetiland, having seen something likes this before. The other, Simon Belmont, had long disappeared.

He turns to face her, still somewhat tense.]

[She nods, a slight smile forming on her lips.]

I'm glad to hear that. I didn't think I'd see you like this again.

[He looks very frustrated and upset at his condition.]

...I may be a demon. But this... this isn't who I am. Or even what I am. [He lets out a frustrated grunt.] Most demons don't even look like this.

[Stahn himself was headed to the bar that night. Sometimes, he needed a good drink to ease his mind, especially when his friends were having so many problems, he couldn't help but worry about them.

Too bad he hasn't noticed Adell yet.]

[Adell sees Stahn walk in, but he doesn't make any motion to call him over. Not yet at least. In a way he's keeping to himself, brooding. Unusual for him, but given how he looks, how he feels mentally, physically, and emotionally, it's probably not hard to understand.

But from the corner, Stahn might eventually feel some sort of powerful gaze settling on him. Feel like you're being watched?]

[No, he doesn't, actually. But once he gets his drink, he swings around in his chair as he takes a sip.

...And that's when he spots Adell. Not that he realizes it's Adell, of course, but his attention certainly is on the young man right now.]

[Adell stares back at him... actually expecting what Stahn's seeing to click in his head in a moment or two.]

[On Adell's way into the bar he might notice Luffy sitting on the roof of it drinking some rum rather happily as he looks up into the stars. But during hisstar gazing helooks down and see's Adell. Or at least at first he thinks it's Adell by his hair.]

OI! Ad-- [Wait. His skin was a little darker wasn't it? And his eyes... he wasn't sure if this was Adell or not.]

[Adell turns back at the familiar voice. He shoots the rubber man a rather withering glare, his red eyes surprisingly piercing.]

...Luffy. It's me. Adell.

[He's going to jump down inorder to get a better look.]

What happened? Did the Malnosso do this...? This isn't a new "power up" is it?

[Selphie's grabbing a quick bite of lunch in the plaza when she spots Adell walking past. She abandons her sandwich and chases after the boss.]

[Adell, when he hears his name called out, pauses in his stride, then turns to look back. He knew the voice instantly.]

Selphie?

[Of course, when he turns around, all of his physical changes should become immediately apparent... and even with his physical changes making him look demonic and threatening, he still looks... upset. Not at her, necessarily. But the situation. Understandably.]

[Selphie's surprised by the changes but definitely not afraid. She can tell that he's upset about something. She's not entirely sure what she could do to help but she had to do something.]
