I'm a know nothing

You just described how every scientist feels before starting an experiment. XDDDD

Although I do end up making intellectual hypotheses about how things will turn out, I'm only right about 50% of the time, which is most likely due to luck and circumstance. ^.~

There was a political party called the Know-Nothings; they had very little to do with your statement, but that was the first thought into my head.

But, in some ways, I beg to disagree--in some situations, you have to go into it knowing something. I don't really know how to describe it, but you can't go into every single thing a clean slate, every single time, no matter how hard you try. You bring experience and knowledge and prejudice with you, and that's just how it goes.

Determinedly avoiding it is another thing.
