This is why the average "random guy on OT" will not get laid, or get laid but be unhappy.

This is a human being the poster is looking for, not a fucking automobile. If he reduces what should be the most important person in his adult life to an inanimate object, he'll always be disappointed.

Besides, most men on that board could use QUITE a bit of work themselves. Women rule the roost in most relationships, anyway. Perhaps the better (and more accurate) comparison would be that men should get themselves in shape---mentally, physically, and spiritually/emotionally---so that they may put themselves out on the lot and hopefully find a smart, successful, and physically attractive woman to ride them.

Strangely, my mother and I were having a related conversation earlier. We were noting that all my cousins who married after 28 or so have had really long happy marriages, and that those that married young (22 or so) have all been through at least one divorce. So, that would run counter to the above comment, but, I think it's more demonstrably true in my experience.
