 You know your life has dramatically changed when your surgical oncologist has gone out of town.
1. You have a surgical oncologist.
2. You need him to be in town.

and then there was my best friend's wedding. 

promises we made when we went walking.
that's just me and dan talking. 

After awhile, there isn't anything left to give.

I stay at Loyola & worry about letting people down because I didn't take the opportunity to go to Washington.
I go to Washington & can't handle it, letting people down because I wasn't as good as they thought I was.

I've met the President of the United States...and I worry about letting people down.

Pack up my professors.
My friends.
My family.

And put them in Washington because I know I can't stay here anymore.

Three years ago, I didn't have the desire to get out of bed.
Today, I found out that my diploma will say "magna cum laude."

I guess I made it.
