I have resolved that I really no longer care for livejournal.  First of all, it's like killer of all friendships. It requires no effort on anyone's part to actually keep a friendship. Rather than putting effort into a friendship to keep in touch with them, you can just read their livejournal. Then all you have to do is read about your friend, as if

I think that's a fantastic idea, although I would love to keep in contact. I don't find I have that problem apart from with a couple of people, as most I know don't use livejournal. Although, as you've noticed, my journal has been host to a few gossip/bitch/advice fests!
Good luck living without LJ! I found it very, very hard when I gave it up for lent :S

Hey there. I am a Youth Pastor and I like your site. I have just started a live journal http://www.livejournal.com/users/jaycubsfan/ and I was just searching around to see what other people's sites look like. I was searching around for those who has similar interests. My journal has kinda turned into a online devotional for middle, high school and college students. It is not flashy but it is useful.
