Most customers, regardless of which model they have purchased, expect it to be 100% perfect. No man-made product, even a Toyota, is 100% all the time. Most people do not realize how unbelievably complicated new cars are, even the simple ones.

I don't know how many times I heard that lament from BMW and Jaguar owners when I worked on those in the mid-90's, the pre-96 Ford-produced Jags were particularly nasty. I was beginning to think that if I didn't explain that "all machines wear out" at least once a week, something bad was going to happen the following week.
Having to explain that with warranty repairs though wasn't fun.
