For all you Firefly/Serenity fans out there:  The announcement of the development of a Firefly MMORPG.  Whoohoo!

So, last night I went and did it.  My allergies were bugging the crap out of me, and my Sudafed PE was no longer helping.  So I went and did it.  I knew I shouldn't have, but I did anyway.  I took a full dose of Benadryl.

I meant to post this last week, and just only realized that I never got around to it.  We have scheduled the C-Section for November 9th.  So I become a daddy again in under a month!!!

In case any of you have been reading about a chemical fire in Apex, NC (a suburb of Raleigh), I wanted to quickly let everyone know that we are OK.  I don't live all that far from there, but it is far enough away that we were not evacuated.  I do work with several people who live in the evacuation zone, however.  It really sucks for them.  They ( Read more... )

So, we are on vacation at the beach this week. Gulf Shores, Alabama to be exact. We left Thursday night, drove part way. Drove another part way Friday and picked up an old friend of Ashley's in LaGrange, GA. Then arrived yesterday. We will be here until next Saturday. I got a phone call on Sunday that my grandmother was not well. She was 99 years old and has had N-stage dementia for quite some time now. But now she had some sort of flu, a high temperature, was very non-responsive, etc. And they couldn't do anything for her because of a living will (she's pretty much ready to go and didn't want to prolong ( Read more... )
