As I reported last night my Blackberry fell into a glass of water and was in it for about 30 minutes.  Once I was aware of what happened I took the battery out and shook the phone for a while trying to get all the water out.  Every time I shook it, droplets of water would shoot out from the keys.  I then laid it all out on my desk and waiting until ( Read more... )

Today (Saturday, October 3) I signed my December lease.  I noted that they have a specific clause in the lease that says that all laundry must be done in laundry facilities.  That might put a damper on me getting a ventless washer/dryer.  I guess I’ll have to think about that more.  Would suck to buy a 1,000 appliance and then be told you can’t use ( Read more... )

When I last left off I was bitching about my car insurance premium going up 125.00 every six months because I changed addresses from Grand Rapids to Ann Arbor.  Well with some perseverance (but no policy changes) I was able to get my premium reduced to only going up 12.00 every six months.  Not bad work if I say so myself.  Again it’s all about ( Read more... )

Got a call from my future apartment complex saying that everything had been verified with my employer and current landlord so all I have to do is come sign the lease.  Have that appointment set up for Saturday.  It will feel so good to get this 100% taken care of in writing.  I feel like I might be being a little anal about it all but I like to ( Read more... )
