First: I had frog legs for the first time ever last Friday. They were delishiouz. One thing that came to my mind later that evening: Frogs have 4 legs (last I remember) so how come they gave me only 3? What happens to the missing leg ( Read more... )

I got a good email today that related to my guitar.

I emailed Yamaha corp last night asking them for a manufacturing date of my Yamaha SC-800 guitar. I got a reply this afternoon from one of the employees and they said it was made in 1978! This makes my guitar among the first in the model series. Nice...very nice...

Ok gents,

I have a bottle of wine.

Now to find an event to take it to or to open it up for.

I went to get my guitar set up at Astoria Music (local owned small musical instrument store). The guy knows his stuff and is real honest about the work he does. I can't say it enough how pleased I am with his non-snob/hipster Crooklyn store attitude. I left my guitar at 2pm and it was done by 4:15pm. The whole thing is shiny, awesome sounding ( Read more... )
