I am alone at the museum today. I read and saw all the reports about the snow and ice last night, but decided to take the bus this morning to Middlebury. My co-workers were surprised to see me. They left about half an hour ago. I am here until the bus makes a return visit at 6:00 pm. I have a pretty good view of downtown Middlebury from my office. ( Read more... )

I have spent the day wrestling with things at work. This morning I spent quite a bit of time trying to de-ice the barn door. We are hosting a traveling exhibit in February and we need more wall space. We have quite a few false walls in the barn. So, yesterday was the all important VSO POPs concert to benefit the museum. Adele Pierce, our Event Manager, has been organizing them for 15 years.
