On Thursday I tackled my biggest fear...driving. Yes folks, that is right, I passed my drivers test and now have a Vermont issued driver's license. I have dreaded driving for as long as I can remember. For the last ten years I have done everything to avoid having to do it. A little update on my driving. I have had two lessons and things seem to be going well. I am alive and that is a good thing and Rodney (my driving inspector) had me schedule my test for May 17th at 10:00. I hope I am ready.

I have a driving lesson tomorrow with a company called "Drive Alive". Let's hope I am alive after the lesson.

I love the library. It is my home away from home. The smell of the books, the hum of knowing whispers and all those wonderful desks. Oh yes, and I get paid to do it. Today I went to the Howe/Bailey Library and Dana Library at UVM. The museum is planning an exhibit about health and hygiene in Vermont and I was researching some of the medical objects ( Read more... )
