Carnevale
We were up at porta fiorentina at 6 am to get the bus. The USAC students all chipped in so that we could get a bus there and back, which since about 50 of us went was much cheaper than the train or flying. Random trips I have done with classes etc.
So my art class often goes to nearby towns. One week we went to this old roman amphitheater which was during the time I didn’t have a camera but I have a sketch. We got to walk around and inside it. The weekend of February 18-20th will be brief since we didn’t actually do to much. Though we did take Caitlin out to dinner to one of the restaurants in town. She doesn’t get to go to them much since she lives with a family. Finite
Finally done with the school portion. Since we got back from Florence it has just been due date after due date. Rodika, who works at the Casa, was starting to go crazy about the missing coffee mugs, they were missing because everyone had been up all night drinking coffee ( Read more... ) -

I have arrived safely at the Casa. My flight from Seattle to Paris was rather uneventful. There were turbulent from the coast of Greenland to Iceland, and the landing gear was crooked when we landed which made that a little bit bumpy, but otherwise it was a smooth flight.
