For William Buckley, because I promised him these pictures.

Today, my time/memory sculpture was assessed and underwent the grueling and/or tedious procedure that is group critique. Actually, group critique wasn't too bad, not for my piece anyway... But waiting for my turn was deeeaaath... Especially since I was last to go. Good thing my piece was brilliant :P

Read on? There's pictures... )

That has got to be one of the most interesting projects I've ever seen. Living art is awesome.

Lol, haha, I wouldn't expect that incase I get disappointed... No seriously, you had to be there to appreciate how sublime it was (oh yes sublime, since we were studying aspect of art in our recent lecture :P), my camera skills were killed by my trembling with excitement.

P.S. I didn't ignore Sash Friday. I should've and I will now *shakes fist* I need to rant :(

A moment of pure art and I wasn't there. Truly I am sobbing. Hell, I would have skipped any day at uni to see it...and now it's dead. :(

Aww, you're so lovely :D And yes, you should've been there!! It was much better live... If I could make another one, I would. But Colin (our tech supervisor) would have my head if I used that much wax again!

Just nick some ala the good old days of pilfering from the art bulk store-room.
Never bite the hand that feeds, a good gumming on the other hand...

He hovers and sneaks and has the wax under lock and key... Plus, my beach ball is now permanently located in our studio as a volleyball which we use very often, rather unfortunate for the protected landmark building I think...
