My brother's BFF Michael (who is sometimes known as my fake brother Mike and is in a band with my real brother Drew) asked me to make a concert poster for their upcoming show on April 7th. Last night, Rowan and I got out the art supplies and drew for hours. Sadly, after two hours, the end result should be more impressive than it is.

Thank you! From what you said, I've achieved my goals of keeping it on the simple side while also being somewhat interesting (enough to draw a person in!).

i like it too! i also like your "font". i think it's hip and draws your attention to the center, which is the most important part. a lot of gig posters have too much going on and it takes away from the point, the band.

And, yes, the band is the main point!! I love posters for any show, but my favorites are the simple ones.

i agree. it definitely has lex appeal. or at least I assume it does and agree with lex.

(have you thought about a coffee stain ring in the upper right hand corner? not saying you should, but it might sound like a good idea at the time.)
