hey, i know. i wish you were here, but i can't tell you how important it is to us that your mom and dad are here right now. plus, it's really weird and hard to see grandpa like this. he's still crackin jokes though, which is nice. i miss you and i'm definitely taking the 16th off to hang out with you while you're here. call me if you want to talk before then.

i keep thinking how grandma is just waiting for him with open arms. it's all gonna be fine.

it's so hard to be away from the family at a time like this...
i'm gonna call tomorrow, and hopefully ill be able to talk to you then.
i cant wait to see you when i come up there.
i know grandma is waiting, its just hard because melissa nad i havent seen him for a long time, i saw him last time he was here in FL for spring training but melissa hasnt seen him since grandmas funeral. take care of my dad/mom i know its extra tough for them since they werent there for grandma's.
