Hmm, that's a though decision. On the one hand, the Magic School Bus taught me a lot of things about science and was something I enjoyed in book form before the advent of the cartoon. On the other hand, Wishbone exposed me to the (basic) plots of a lot of great literature which I enjoyed immensely, reading always having been one of me favorite pastimes. I would have to rank both the Magic School Bus and Wishbone about equally because they both taught me different things in different subject areas. Perhaps a better question would be to rank MSB and Bill Nye for science (Bill Nye all the way) and Wishbone and Reading Rainbow for reading (tough one, but I think LeVar Burton beats hallucinogenic talking Jack Russel terrier). In a one-on-one deathmatch between the MSB (or Mz. Frizzle for that matter, take your pick) and Wishbone, I think that the Magic School Bus would win. I mean c'mon, it's magic and Wishbone is definately squishy and lacking in magic or otherwise special powers.
