i am in yidland.  the imaginary place, contrived in jen lee's confused little mind, where the language is yiddish.  i feel a little weird that i'm here solely because i want to study the holocaust.  i am beginning to feel that my reasoning is shallow, that i am somehow worse than the people who want to learn it for cultural and religious reasons
