I like to write. I have been putting stories onto paper since I was in 8th grade. An English teacher suggested it. Before that, I "told" stories in the custom of my people. It never occurred to me to put them to paper. That was a start. Crude . . . yes. I still have some examples of it . . . all had written in the worst cursive of any kid.

I've tried to get you to present your writings for our club, but you said they weren't good enough before. I've read some of your stories, and thought you should put them together as a compilation book, too. Please do so.

I will. I still have a short story I have work yet to finish. Maybe then. . . .
