Time is Nigh
The urge to write has become strong. I know what I must write. The hard part is the "How" things take place . . . the segues from section to section and over all, the drama, humor and emotions to be found in the weave of the story. Fall can be the pits!
Once again tis fall. This month I am still paying off summer . . . a broken garbage disposal which got fixed today . . . my self created medical problem, which has NOT gone away yet. My lady has been ill for two months and only now did they find she had a massive infection in her digestive tract that goes from esophagus to duodenum. Hopefully ( Read more... ) -
Aftermath
The con is over. I arrived home at two PM. My Lady didn't make it to the con. She went into the hospital on Tuesday and I had no way to know. I talked to her today and she is home again. The Docs cannot diagnose what is wrong. Tomorrow she goes in for some tests to check for very rare conditions. I can only pray that they are successful. At ( Read more... ) -

My head hurts, but only just over the pain threshold. I made the trip to SEATac in the afternoon, spending most of the morning in bed, napping. I made it to the con. My room has a nice view of the pool area and an outside table and chairs. If I want, I can go out the glass door to the pool itself. I have only seen one person I know and we ( Read more... ) -

Holy Crap!!
To end all end-alls, we now have a cougar stalking the park after dark. We are "advised" to NOT go outside at night alone. No SHIT!
My dog's need to go outside at night are gonna get curbed.
I think I might need a gun . . . they scare me. -

I came home from seeing my lady in the hospital and found several notes on my door. One accused me of violating their pet rules. I can only have one pet under 20 pounds. To that end, they have ordered me to get rid of my two rabbits who have never been outside, and never seen by anyone. I wonder what would happen if I had an aquarium with 20 or ( Read more... )
