I know what you mean...the last 2 books have been dark. I cried and mourned harder when Sirius died though. He was, afterall, the only 'real' family Harry's got. It took me about a week to get over Sirius...I don't know how long it'll take me for Dumbledore buat I don't think it'll be as long. I always had a bit of faith on Snape...so what Snape did was utter disappointment on my side. I still think the 5th book had more action in it and that I was so high on adrenaline reading it. But the 6th one was just...I don't know...revealing? It did reveal major pieces of the puzzle... I can't believe Harry's leaving the school...and Ron and Hermione...I love Hogwarts so much...
Yup this book is dark... I started thinking about what Snape did... and I think Dumbledore wanted Snape to kill him to save his life.... because Snape made that unbreakable vow to Narcissa to protect Malfoy. And if Dumbledore didn't die then Snape would die, because Malfoy couldn't kill Dumbledore and if he didn't kill Dumbledore then Voldemort would kill Malfoy. The ending just made me sad...
Yeah, I figured that too...and if Voldermort killed Draco, Snape would have to die too...it's a dead end! And I figured that when Dumbledore pleaded, it was so that Snape go on and finish him off...(see my faith in Snape? Almost pathetic isn't it?) OMG...but why keeping Snape alive? Is keeping Snape and/or Malfoy worth more than Dumbledore? I mean the one that voldemort himself feared most, well, aside from his other biggest threat, Harry that is...
