These past few days have been a little weird. I can't believe it's time to move out (almost). I've got 3 finals next week (none of which I'm worried about)-- 2 on Monday, 1 on Friday. The dog has been christened Milo Moonshine King. I thought up Milo. My Uncle John thought up Moonshine. It took us forever to think up a name. And I'm in love with with little Milo. My mom called me from Greensboro (at the puppy place) this morning to say that she's definitely getting the dog because she knows for sure that he's not retarded now. We still don't have a name. My mom hates Atticus. The name Gravy is actually growing on me. We're considering Ripley now, which is an okay name. Anyway, here's my new puppy:

Yesterday was definitely high on emotion for me. I got a call from Michael saying that Mom went ahead and buried Gussie's ashes even though we agreed we would do it as a family. It's just that burying the ashes was supposed to be a kind of goodbye for me (because I wasn't there when he died) and now it's like my Mom has taken that away from me. ( Read more... )
