I've been discussing this with another LJ friend. The layout I'm using doesn't seem to feature this, but I had someone like my post the other day and can't work out who (or where to see it). I'm not overly keen on it, for the reasons you have stated.

Were you able to find it? I first saw who 'liked' me on my mobile desktop version.

i wish there was a way to disable it... if someone doesn't have anything to say, a "like" isn't a suitable substitute.
