What you said about diversity is very true. Generally speaking, you can learn much more from people who see things from a different perspective than from people who always agree with you and share the same set of belief systems. One of my old roommates in Vienna and I had different views regarding certain political topics, and our discussions have always been very enriching.

It was a strong speech. I wrote a favorite line on the back of an envelope. "If you're tired of arguing with strangers on the internet, try talking to one in real life."
