Finally (after over 8 weeks) Dad's results came back and he does have prostate cancer. On the black side, this means that there is no chance of risking one lot of medication that they were very much hoping would strengthen his heart (it gets confused coming from my Mum, but she thinks it's testosterone itself that they would have used.)But it could ( Read more... )

Hmmmm, I've heard bad things..... I mean really bad "giant sucky sucky suck" things about it. But it did look kind of cool - maybe - if it's still on when I get time. Wallace and Gromit has to be a higher priority.

Odd news that - I mean "my dad's got prostate cancer - but actually it's not very important because he's so ill". Kind of good news - kind of bad news....

Actually, I think that the predicted lifespan for any elderly gent with this level of prostate cancer is fairly good and that it's not JUST my Dad's condition that means that they're not treating it agressively. (At least I hope that's the case!)

bitvacous said that she went and read up about it and now understood why you were not worried - so I think your right it's not just your dad.
