The flock of seagulls flying overhead in West Kensington this morning ...

Bright orange in the bathroom, until he leaps off the side of the bath and into the warm water, then he goes very yellow. Of course, his head is still orange, until he flips over and swims upside down for a while, then he's all bright yellow until he cools off and it's time for the human to get out of the bath!

Came back from acupuncture about 10:30 tonight and snow was falling heavily - luckily it had been raining for about 3 hours or so, so it won't settle. It's supposed to be -1 degrees tonight in London so it could be a little slippery if it does manage to get that low. Can't remember the last time I saw snow at this time of year ...

It's Saturday, finally, so time for a meme - pretty pictures and no real surprise by the outcome.

Well, walking through the grounds of Westminster Abbey before 8 in the morning with the sun behind me and a tall, thin, shapely shadow, who wouldn't.

Uncle, Dad's younger brother went to Royal Marsden hospital for cancer check up. Was taken ill and admitted following scan which showed new tumour on spine. Transferred to St. George's hospital in Tooting for operation to remove some of it (couldn't get it all) and make room in the spine for it to grow without causing so much nerve damage ( Read more... )
