but your midnight showings are typically superhero movies right? they draw a different, applauding type crowd.

nice summary of the sparkling scene. it was almost like he was attacking her I thought.

No, they were a little stoaked. They clapped a little when Edward first came on the screen. Which, btw, was AMAZING. I did like how they introduced him. And I did like the baseball scene a whole lot. I <3 that they used Muse in that scene.... and it's my fav Muse song too. lol. But yeah, I wouldn't say it was a different crowd. Granted, there probably weren't more than 10 people there at Twilight who had also been to the exact same screening of a different movie- BUT- it's still your hard core "IM CRAZY STOAKED ABOUT THIS MOVIE!" crazies, and they still have the same passion the people in the super hero movies had.

It means something that no one clapped. And it's not a good thing :(

I did like the baseball scene a lot except for two things: one, edward and emmett would never in a million years crash in the air like klutzes. vampires are supposed to be graceful. and alice's pitching leg was crazy.

Well, in the book they collide. Bella mentioned how when they hit the ball it sounded like thunder, and when they knocked into each other it sounded like thunder too. And it happend the way I figure to be more of an "I see Edward's going after this ball, but I want to catch it, but he's faster than me, so the only way I can get him to miss, is if I hit him" And Edward would be too focused on the ball to see Emmett/to care about Emmett that he would have continued to grab the ball, rather than miss the ball to get out of Emmett's way. THUS A COLLISION OF VAMPIRES!!

AHHHHHHH

well i have to admit i liked the movie more than i thought i would. i loved the humor that was incorporated in. even though some of it i don't think was meant to be funny, but it still was. i knew it was going to be cheesy. you're right the acting really made me feel awkward, with edward and bella. i think bella was supposed to be awkward but it was way overdone. i enjoyed the movie although a lot of things were left out, but that's to be expected. i'm actually looking forward to the second movie because i love taylor lautner (jacob) lol ( ... )

Well, here's the thing. When you get down to it, Twilight is a love story. Why couldn't they just make it terribly romantic like they did for The Notebook? Instead of just throwing a bunch of random scenes picked from the movie, why didn't they just really work on developing conversations between Edward and Bella? I thought they could have spent a lot more time with the Biology class. Or at least continued ANY scene for a more extended period of time ( ... )

haha. this is very true! there were tons of things in the book , but they didn't really focus on any one thing. they so should have focused on a love story, i agree. although important things would be left out, it would have flowed better, or something. it seemed like their relationship was rushed. and i hate that they didn't have edward questioning bella in the car ride home ):

thus we would have seen him enter her room in more of a "I can't let Charlie know I'm here" rather than the creepy way he kept doing it.
hahahaha! i know! robert is so creepy as edward!

so...here's what i think......you direct the next movies :) seriously. cause you got some really good ideas! and i'll play alice! yay!

and stephanie being in the movie......so random! people gasped in my theater haha. i had seen that movie still before but didn't connect it.

I totally loled at the part where you mocked Edward and Bella in the sunlight. That's hilarious.
I agree with you on the Charlie thing. He was funny in the movie! They did rush a lot. And I felt they could have done a lot better than they did and did some parts that were more based on the book than their own way. Sigh. What a disappoinment.
I couldn't understand why some people were laughing? Some of the facial expressions were hilarious but then other times I didn't get it.

They were laughing because it was done so poorly. The part that I got angry over everyone laughing at was the way Edward acted all grossed out in the biology class because of Bella's hair. It wasn't like a "holy crap, I'm going to gag" thing. It was a "holy crap i'm going to killer her. right now, but the way her hair is blowing is so beautiful, but what the heck am i saying, i'm a vampire and she's a human. but she's so pretty. and she smells so good. but i can't eat her here in front of all these people, because that would be ....well, awkward." It wasn't supposed to be a disgusted look- it's a look of pain. A look of desire. He wants her -BADLY- but, he can't have her. And he's suffering in his seat. Not because she reaks, but because she smells sooooo good to him ( ... )

haha. i saw it again today with my mom (i'm addicted). liked it much better. although i hated the scene with the sun more because i didn't realize last time how he was intensely, scarily dragging her.
use of the word 'chillax' did not bother me as much this time because i was expecting it.
edward is looking particularly cute in the scene where he is wearing sunglasses. and in the suit at the prom. delicious.
