Lost in the Weeds
I forgot what a trap LiveJournal is for me in terms of my own posts. I can easily revisit (and rewrite) portions of an entry a half-dozen times over the course of the week, long after anyone is ever going to read it again.
I should probably stop doing that. -
Another nail in privacy's coffin
Our VP asked that cubicles be reconfigured to increase collaboration, but then left the specifics up to the self-organizing bureaucracy that exists below him. The result has been nonsensical arrangements that do nothing to further cross-team collaboration but obliterate all privacy for those unlucky enough to be sentenced to a four-person collab ( Read more... ) -

- This morning, I dreamed that I was doing skateboarding tricks riding a wheeled push-broom. It was strangely exhilarating.

Saturday, I stood in line for thirty minutes waiting to vote by absentee ballot. Two rooms were filled to capacity. I was number six.
