I cut my finger at work yesterday and now I can't type very well. My ability to type has been something that I've always been able to appreciate about myself. Namely, because I can't write by hand as fast as I can think. Not that I can type as fast I can think, but the differential in the speeds is much less than when writing by hand. Yesterday I developed a migraine while at work. Started out with visual disturbances - flickering lights as if I had stared into the sun. Then I lost feeling in one arm and my gums went numb. So, yeah, I found the Longhorn's victory to be bitter sweet. I can't help but think of my dad. He raised me to bleed burnt orange. Despite having received his PhD from Texas A&M, he remained loyal to his first love in UT. So incredibly glad that Christmas is over. I know I'm not in the minority with this opinion, either. I've met but a handfull of folks that are actually happy about the holidays this year.
