While trying to solve it, I first saw something that didn't quite work: across column 4, if you flip the A and L around there's a 10-letter bingo playable.

I found a 10 that actually plays across column 4. Not quite a double double though. I don't know what I was supposed to see. THRENODE seems pretty lackluster.
