I don't understand why Barack Obama would give the Secretary of State position to Hilary Clinton instead of Bill Richardson. During the primaries he kept pointing out how ridiculous it was that Hilary Clinton claimed she had foreign policy experience when it was actually just that she traveled around a lot.

Yeah, and it's idiotic. Feeling like you owe someone a favor isn't a good reason to appoint them to one of the top cabinet positions, and even if it were, I don't think he owes her any favors. I think it's sad if this is Barack Obama's grand vision of change in Washington.
