Maybe I'll do a little blog post. So I've moved into my new apartment in New York City ("The Big Apple"). I like it so far it's a good amount of space for NYC, and the neighborhood seems pretty quiet and safe. We'll see how I feel about the commute once I start work. I saw something today that was written to the effect of "Sure he left the team, but why is everyone SO upset about it?".

New personal record for longest drive just to take a leak: 60 miles.
Today I drove 60 miles to take a drug test in Auburn, NY. I'm doing an internship for J.P. Morgan this summer (assuming I pass the drug test and background check). On the way back I decided to take US-20 instead of the Thruway and I saw this sign that said like "Welcome to Aurelius -- Zoning Laws Enforced." With 2009 coming to an end and 2010 right around the corner, it's time to consider an interesting topic. Will people switch from the pronounciation convention of "two thousand x" to "twenty x"? I feel like there are some people that will switch over right away, while some people will still say two thousand ten, but eventually switch over to two ( Read more... ) -

I was at the Sears Essentials in Londonderry today. I get the feeling that they've kind of given up and are try to sell as much stuff as possible before they go out of business. Back when they were K-mart (four years ago?) they had a full aisle dedicated to fishing supplies. Right now it's half of one side of an aisle, and half of the hooks were ( Read more... )
