Whilst the task in front of him was nowhere near as daunting as Wes', Kurt still felt more than a little apprehensive as he walked the rooms of the Met. What if Blaine didn't like his gift? What if he thought it too much, too expensive? If he felt like Kurt was stealing his thunder, trying to be flashy before they got engaged? Or what if it was too late... should he have done something like this back when Blaine gave him his promise ring? With difficulty, Kurt pushed those thoughts away. He wasn't about to propose... it was just a present. An expensive present, yes, but maybe not so lavish if he thought of it as Valentine's, birthday and anniversary all rolled up in one little box. And Blaine was... Blaine. He would love it, whatever ( ... )

There were two ways this could have gone. It could have gone very well or very poorly. VERY VERY poorly. Luckily for them, it went very well -- Sierra completely stunned by the display and the ring. When Wes had mentioned a birthday surprise, she had never dreamed...and in the Greco-Roman statuary too....

Though completely bright red, she was smiling and trying very VERY hard not to cry as she offered Wes her hand to slip the ring on. "I love you too..."

[OOC: La la la. Look who's finally catching up on things...]

Blaine followed Kurt, a happy, curious look on his face. He was going to let his sister have her full moment in the sun before going over to congratulate her. Little did he know he had something of his own to look forward to. He opened his mouth in surprise, just staring at the ring. "Kurt... oh my God, it's beautiful!" He listened to him explain the meaning, choking up as he talked, it was perfect, perfect like they were, perfect as their life would be together. He slipped it onto his right hand ring finger. Just like Cinderella's slipper, it was made for him exactly. He tugged his boyfriend into a kiss, bending him back like in an old romantic movie, whispering "I love you," against his lips over and over.

[ooc: I suggest I reply to this and Wes reply to Sierra?]

Kurt would have responded likewise, if he'd been able to stop himself from shrieking at the sudden dip backwards, and the subsequent laughter that caused.

"I love you too," he finally managed between the chuckles, arms wrapping up around Blaine's neck, spine bending into the hold.
