Sara Watkins (of Nickel Creek) will be in town and playing next Wednesday, April 29th, 8pm, at Berklee. Tickets are $20 each (General Admission). Who wants to come with me? I plan to acquire tickets tomorrow, so let me know by 12noon if you want me to get you a ticket, or you can get them on your own ( Read more... )

You know Sara Watkins personally? Okay, two things:

1) I'm jealous.

2) Introduce me.

Nickel Creek earns my serious respect. Irrespective of their age, they are some fine musicians. The fact that they are all so young adds a Wow Factor, but they don't need it: they're just damn good.

2) I can try. It's not like I was close enough to be invited to her wedding. ;)

But yes, they are just damn good. Hence why I'm excited!

I am well. Not sure when I'm coming back to the Bay Area. I'm sure I'll be there at least once between July but I don't know when exactly.

FYI, she's playing in SF in May. The 15th IIRC.
