Well, as par for course, I don't fare well with excessive imagery. Hence, not much reaction to give.

However, I did absolutely adore this (especially as the end of the poem):

i prayed that i could learn
to do things
and not have to tell anyone
like turning off the lights
and watching the highway melt.
