Today I took my very first AP test. It was somewhat akin to losing your virginity through rape.

Rape, pillage, and plunder. No, I'm exaggerating; it wasn't that terrible. Or maybe it was. When I see the giant 1 in the mail, I'll know.

I saw Lois Lowry's lecture this evening at the Tennessee Theatre and it was, in a word, phenomenal. She's a fantastic and eloquent speaker and her manner is just warm enough to draw you in to her, but not so personal as to eventually distance you from her.
