Watched The Lost Boys today on the Netflix. Alex Winter's giant blond permullet is probably the greatest hairstyle in the history of the movies.

Also just saw a huge black rat snake curled up amid the junk on the back porch. Three feet if he's an inch. We should really clean up all that mess there.

One fun thing I have been doing lately is going to the local dog parks with Dana. A month or so ago I reviewed a game called Hyperdimension Neptunia, which is another one of these D-grade Japanese RPGs that finds an audience on the strength of its many images of cartoon 10-year-old girls. Made German hot potato salad yesterday. It turned out pretty well, although in retrospect it was unwise to follow the call of my genes and use big russet potatoes. I ate goat for the first time the other day, which was okay, but nothing to set the world on fire. Last night I had beef liver for the first time, though, and that is pretty darned good. Especially in light of the fact that my anemic ass needs all the iron it can get.
