New addition to the Warren family ..
My grandson was born this morning at 11.13am by c-section weighing in at 6lb 10oz (sorry, don't do metric) both mum and baby are doing really well and both will be back on the ward shortly. Can't wait to see them both; so excited and very proud.

The ups and downs at Warrensark
Warrensark Jemima has done me proud today as I came home to the lovely sound of eeping coming from the rat room. This morning, she was so jumpy, couldn’t settle and even gave me a wee warning not to touch her tummy. She had made a huge nest by the time I went to work but still appeared too active. Received a call couple of days ago from one of the vet nurses with the lovely aussie, saying that one of her bucks had bitten her 2 year old lad* and as a result, was not able to trust him and take the chance in keeping both him, his brother and their mum anymore. Not sure where to start, but tonight i have had some very upsetting texts from Kristen (Chris's partner) who has now been in hospital for a week now, almost 6 months pregnant and now has a newly discovered blood clot near the heart (she already has a few in her body). They are going to let her home for a short visit hopefully next week to be with ( Read more... ) -
Another crappy day ........
Thought i was doing ok, but it would seem otherwise. Good New Year's Eve, was home and in my pj's by 23mins past with a nice cup of tea curled up on the couch feeling very cold. Was doing ok, until yesterday evening when my i had some serious tummy cramps and ended up going to bed with hot water bottle, praying this is just a blip and the remains ( Read more... ) -

Can't believe it's Christmas Day at the end of the week - can't also believe that despite all my good intentions of being organised, I went down with a nice case of swine flu which put all my plans etc somewhat on hold.
